We often see patients that complain that they do not like the way their eyes look. They feel tired or they feel heavy and it can range from having a problem with too much bags underneath of their eyes, having too much skin on top of their upper eyelids, and so different types of procedures are performed to help improve those different areas. As we can see with this patient, she has excess bags beneath her eyes and she has too much extra skin over top of her upper eyelids, and so with one simple outpatient operation both of those problems can be improved. When I see patients for consultation I examine them in front of the mirror. I have the patients show me what they like and what they do not like. May patients actually like the shape of their eyes and they do not want that changed. So they have very specific complaints and we want to address those specific complaints without changing anything else that they may like about their eyes.
