There are two basic types of implants that are available, silicone gel and saline implants. Both have advantages and disadvantages. The biggest issue a woman has to decide upon when she chooses from the two different implant styles is what happens when those implants wear out because we all know that implants will eventually wear out. Silicone gel has a very natural feel and a very natural shape, but it does not all dissolve when the implant wears out. But the saline implants, when the implant does wear out, the saline is absorbed by the body and that sometimes gives women a little bit more sense of comfort.
